Lorenzen named CUW women's track coach
MEQUON, Wis. -- Concordia Wisconsin athletic director Rob Barnhill has announced that one of Concordia's best-known grads, Amanda Lorenzen, will be the new women's head track coach at CUW.

Kluckhohn assumes Benedictine track and field coaching duties
LISLE, Ill. -- James Kluckhohn has been named as the new head coach for Benedictine University's track and field programs, for both men and women, replacing Jon Wolcott who recently retired after 18 seasons. Kluckhohn will also assist with the Eagles' cross country teams.

Aurora University announces new coaching hirings
AURORA, Ill. -- Aurora University has hired two new head coaches within its highly successful Athletic Department. Ryan Chapman is the new men's and women's cross country and track and field coach, while Jabari Harrell has been inked to take over the men's tennis program.

WAUKESHA, Wis. -- The United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) has announced its track and field academic awards for the 2007-08 academic year. Two teams and two individuals from the Northern Athletics Conference have been honored in this year's awards.

Concordia Wisconsin coach competes at U.S. Olympic Trials
MEQUON, Wis. -- Current Concordia Wisconsin Assistant Cross Country and Track and Field Coach, Amanda Lorenzen competed at the highest level of her storied career. On July 3, Lorenzen competed in the 3,000 meter Steeplechase Finals at the U.S. Olympic Trials.

AURORA, Ill. -- Aurora University Spartan cross country and track and field sophomore standout Morgan Jacquette (Grayslake, IL/Grayslake H.S.) was named to the ESPN the Magazine District V Academic All-District Team.

Benedictine's Abron to compete at DIII Championships
LISLE, Ill. -- Benedictine University's Kimyenna Abron (Chicago, Ill./Hyde Park H.S.) will be the first-ever female sprinter to represent the school at the NCAA Division III track and field championships, when the senior travels to Ada, Ohio for this weekend's indoor championship meet.
