Edgewood College women’s soccer travels to Stevens Point for NCAA Tournament opener
MADISON
, Wis. -- Edgewood College will enter their first NCAA Division III Women’s Soccer Tournament since 2001 against a familiar foe. The Eagles will travel north to Stevens Point for a first round match with UW-Stevens Point. The Pointers will be hosting a four-team regional, with the other first round game featuring 11th-ranked University of St. Thomas (Minn.) and Loras College (Iowa).

Beck header sends Eagles to NCAA Tournament
AURORA, Ill. -- Edgewood College now has something on Aurora University that no other Northern Athletics Conference team has ever had: a winning streak. Fourteen days after ending the Spartans 37-game NAC winning streak, the Eagles did it again with a bigger prize on the line. Kelsey Beck headed home a Melinda Schwab cross as the first half wound to a close to give the Eagles a 1-0 victory in the NAC Tournament championship game and claim an automatic berth into the NCAA Tournament.

Spartan women’s soccer student-athletes named ESPN the Magazine Academic All-District
AURORA, Ill. -– The Aurora University Spartan women’s soccer team had three players named to the ESPN the Magazine District V Academic All-District teams. To be considered for the honor, the nominated student-athletes are required to maintain a minimum 3.30 cumulative grade point average throughout their academic career at AU.
