Falcons To Battle Warhawks In NCAA First Round

The NCAA Division III Men's Tennis Committee announced Monday afternoon the field of 43 teams that will compete in the 2012 NCAA Division III Men's Tennis Championship, including the bracket and locations. Northern Athletics Conference champion Concordia University Wisconsin will travel to Whitewater, Wis., and take on host UW-Whitewater in a first-round match on Friday at 1 p.m.

Concordia Wisconsin (14-10) secured a spot in the national tournament by winning the NAC Tournament last weekend, while independent Whitewater (21-7) received an at-large bid.

The Falcons are making their second-straight appearance to the NCAA III Championship Tournament, and third in the last four seasons.

The winner of the CUW-UWW match will take on Gustavus Adolphus College in the second round on Saturday at 2 p.m.
