football player, junior defensive back Tony Musaraca (Sugar Grove,
IL/Kaneland HS), was named to the D3football.com Team of the Week
after having been named the Northern Athletics Conference Football
Defensive Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending November
2, 2008.

Regents look to make a
difference
ROCKFORD,
Ill. -- On Saturday, October 25, the Rockford College Athletic
Department and the Jane Addams Center for Civic Engagement (JACCE)
will do a little extra to help influence Rockford youth. The groups
have teamed to participate in national Make a Difference Day when
the Rockford College football team hosts Aurora University at Sam
Greeley Field on the campus of Rockford College.

Inaugural Lutheran Bowl to
take place Saturday
MEQUON,
Wis. --
Saturday, Oct. 25 is the date set for the first annual Lutheran Bowl
featuring the football squads of Wisconsin Lutheran College and
Concordia University Wisconsin. The winner of this 1:00pm showdown
at Century Stadium on the Concordia Campus will be awarded the
Luther Cup.

football fans can help food pantry this Saturday
LISLE,
Ill. -- When North Central College and Benedictine University square
off in football this Saturday evening (Sept. 20/7:00 p.m.), the
regional rivalry will no doubt be intense on the field at the
Village of Lisle-Benedictine University Sports Complex. However,
prior to the game, fans and faithful from both schools will have the
chance to put "partisanship" aside for the good of the community.

for the Aurora University Spartans as Rich Duncan announced the hiring of two
