Shiels qualifies for NCAA
Championship
MILWAUKEE, Wis. – The NCAA Division III Men’s and Women’s Track and
Field Committee has announced that Wisconsin Lutheran College senior
men’s cross country runner Zach Shiels (Johnson Creek, Wis./Lakeside
Lutheran) has qualified for the 2008 Division III Men’s Cross
Country Championship.

MSOE's Maio qualifies for
NCAA Championships
MILWAUKEE, Wis. -- MSOE senior Dominic Maio placed 14th overall at
the NCAA Midwest Regional, and was one of seven runners to receive
an individual qualification to the NCAA Division III Men's Cross

Alumni/Kids Fun Run Saturday
MADISON, Wis. - In conjunction with Edgewood
College's homecoming activities the Eagle men's and women's cross
country teams will be holding their inaugural Alumni/Kids Fun Run on
Saturday, September 27th at Stampfl Field in Verona. Anyone is
permitted to register and attend.

Remley takes over Benedictine cross country programs
LISLE, Ill. -- Molly Remley has been named as the Benedictine
University cross country head coach and will also serve as an assistant coach
with the track and field program. She replaces Jon Wolcott, who recently retired
after 18 seasons at the Eagles' helm.

Aurora University announces new coaching hirings
AURORA, Ill. -- Aurora University has hired two new head
coaches within its highly successful Athletic Department. Ryan Chapman is the
new men's and women's cross country and track and field coach, while Jabari
Harrell has been inked to take over the men's tennis program.

Concordia Wisconsin coach competes at U.S. Olympic Trials
MEQUON, Wis. -- Current Concordia Wisconsin Assistant Cross
Country and Track and Field Coach, Amanda Lorenzen competed at the highest level
of her storied career. On July 3, Lorenzen competed in the 3,000 meter
Steeplechase Finals at the U.S. Olympic Trials.

track and field sophomore standout Morgan Jacquette (Grayslake, IL/Grayslake
H.S.) was named to the ESPN the Magazine District V Academic All-District Team.

Brewster's Olympic quest
featured in Wisconsin State Journal
MADISON,
Wis. -- Bethany Brewster, head track and cross country coach at
Edgewood College, was recently featured in the Wisconsin State
Journal regarding her preparations for the United States Olympic
Trials in June. Brewster will attempt to qualify for the Beijing
Summer Olympics in the 5,000 meter run.
