Shiels qualifies for NCAA Championship
MILWAUKEE, Wis. – The NCAA Division III Men’s and Women’s Track and Field Committee has announced that Wisconsin Lutheran College senior men’s cross country runner Zach Shiels (Johnson Creek, Wis./Lakeside Lutheran) has qualified for the 2008 Division III Men’s Cross Country Championship.

LISLE, Ill. -- Molly Remley has been named as the Benedictine University cross country head coach and will also serve as an assistant coach with the track and field program. She replaces Jon Wolcott, who recently retired after 18 seasons at the Eagles' helm.

MEQUON, Wis. -- Current Concordia Wisconsin Assistant Cross Country and Track and Field Coach, Amanda Lorenzen competed at the highest level of her storied career. On July 3, Lorenzen competed in the 3,000 meter Steeplechase Finals at the U.S. Olympic Trials.

Brewster's Olympic quest featured in Wisconsin State Journal
MADISON, Wis. -- Bethany Brewster, head track and cross country coach at Edgewood College, was recently featured in the Wisconsin State Journal regarding her preparations for the United States Olympic Trials in June. Brewster will attempt to qualify for the Beijing Summer Olympics in the 5,000 meter run.
