MADISON, Wis. -- Edgewood College women’s basketball senior Megan Scheele has been named a preseason All-American by D3Hoops.com. Scheele, the returning Northern Athletics Conference Player of the Year, was named to the second team, placing her among the top 10 NCAA Division III players in the nation.

MILWAUKEE, Wis. -- Alverno College will serve as host to the 2008 Northern Athletics Conference Basketball Media Day, which will be held on Friday, Nov. 7. The event is scheduled to begin at 11:30 a.m. in the Conference Center on the Alverno campus.
