Aurora won the 2008 NAC championship with a score of 798, while Edgewood finished second at 870. CUW did not qualify for a team score at last year's championship, but medalist Muriel McIntyre (Alberta, Canada/Werner Academy) led the Falcons with a NAC championship record score of 80-88--168.

Marian University, which posted a third place finish in 2008, was picked fourth with 39 poll points.

Wisconsin Lutheran College, last season's fourth place team, was tabbed fifth with 33 points.

Benedictine University, the last team to qualify for a team score at the 2008 NAC championship, was picked sixth with 27 points.

Lakeland College and MSOE, both of which did not post team scores last year, were picked seventh and eighth.
