Gordon Flesch Company becomes sponsor of Northern Athletics Conference Scholar-Athlete Awards
WAUKESHA, Wis. -- The Gordon Flesch Company, Inc. has become the sponsor of the Northern Athletics Conference Scholar-Athlete Awards beginning this 2008-09 academic year.

The Gordon Flesch Company is one of the country's most successful providers of networked office equipment solutions.

"The Northern Athletics Conference is very pleased to announce that the Gordon Flesch Company has become the sponsor for the NAC Scholar-Athlete Awards," said NAC Commissioner Dr. G. Steven Larson.

The NAC Scholar-Athlete Award is awarded to all full time student-athletes competing in the NAC maintaining a grade point average of 3.25 or higher for the current academic year. Each academic year stands by itself for determination of this award.

Last year, the Northern Athletics Conference recognized 910 full-time student-athletes from all thirteen NAC member institutions.

According to Gordon Flesch Company CFO Keith Breunig, "The NAC Scholar-Athlete program is consistent with our company’s commitment to youth, young adults and community."

The Northern Athletics Conference consists of 13 colleges and universities from the shared-border states of Illinois and Wisconsin making it the third largest conference in NCAA Division III.
