Rivalry aside, local college
football fans can help food pantry this Saturday All fans attending the game are being asked to bring some type of canned and/or non-perishable food donation to the ticket booth at The Sports Complex. In exchange, all fans making a food donation will receive $1 off the admission price ($5 adults and $3 students). All food collected will in turn be donated to the Woodridge Community Pantry. For over fifteen years, the Woodridge Community Pantry, located in Woodridge, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago, has served as an emergency food source, helping the community by feeding the hungry and sharing resources to improve the quality of life. In addition to providing monthly food supplements to families experiencing need, the Pantry provides free school breakfasts for 702 students in grades one through eight of School District 68. For more information, please contact the Benedictine Sports Information Office at 630-829-6143. For more information about the Woodridge Community Pantry, call 630-512-9921.
