Banks

MSOE's Banks to be inducted into Wisconsin Soccer Hall of Fame
MILWAUKEE
, Wis. -- MSOE men's soccer head coach Jimmy Banks will be inducted into the Wisconsin Soccer Association Hall Fame this Saturday, March 15. Banks has been the head coach of the Raiders since 1999.

Banks played on the 1990 U.S. World Cup team and was a member of the U.S. National Team from 1987 until 1993. He was a High School All-American at Custer High School in Milwaukee. Banks then was an All-American at UW-Parkside during his freshman and sophomore years. He also was a All-Midwest selection at UW-Milwaukee as a junior and senior. He then played for the Milwaukee Wave from 1987-1993 and was team captain from 1990 to 1993.

Also, Banks serves as the Director of Intramurals and Club Sports at MSOE. He will be inducted into the Hall of Fame during a banquet at American Serb Hall on Saturday. The other inductees from this year's class include Nick Schimpf, Joe Krzyzaniak, Fritz Weiler, David Scherer, Miroslav "Miro" Rokvic, Dr. Rade Latinovich, and Ian Davies.
